Youths in Benin City, capital of Edo State ave taken to the streets to continue their protests, this time, against the Nigerian Army. The youths, in their hundreds blocked the Ekenwan road axis of the city leading to Ekenwan barracks.
They also reportedly blocked the Upper Sakponba section, refusing soldiers passages and daring them to shoot at them.
According to eye witnesses, the youths expressed anger and vowed not to end the protests, despite the Edo Government’s declaration of a 24 hour curfew on the city, since Monday this week.
