DJ Switch, who has been reporting the shootings at Lekki Toll Gate since last night has tweeted that the army has continued to shoot them, even at daylight this morning.
In a video tweet, she says they are taking some people to the hospital, but that soldiers have continued to shoot directly at them.
In another tweet, she says they have confirmed the deaths of 78 people so far.
She wrote:
