IGBO Awards institute Prof Fada Stan Anih Education Prize to reward hardwork

Vine Shield Limited, Enugu has instituted the Professor Stan Anih Prize in Education.

The company, which is the Principal Organiser of Igbo Awards, which honours sons and daughters of Igbo origin instituted the awards in recognition of the late reverend father’s excellent contributions in education, human capital development and ecumenism.
Presenting the letter of recognition to the Provost of African Thinkers Community of Inquiry College of Education, Comrade Zulu Ofoelue on Thursday, 20th April 2017, the company’s representative, Nwada Rita Anigbogu said Anih was selected because his contributions simply cannot be ignored, since at least, three institutions stand as testimony to his works.
Receiving the letter, Ofoelue listed Divine Mercy College of Education, Nnobi Anambra State, ATCOICOE and Coal City University both in Enugu as some of the schools established the late founder.
He expressed joy at the gesture and hoped that his institution and Vine Shield Limited will have a fruitful relationship ahead.
Also present at the presentation were Project Manager of Vine Shield Limited, Jennifer Agu as well as the Registrar of ATCOICOE, Mrs Ifeyinwa Ude.
Vine Shield Limited is the chief promoter of Igbo Awards, Lolo Igbo Cultural Pageant and Enugu Film Academy.
