Airhiavbere appoints former Edo Assembly Speaker as Campaigns Director

Former Speaker of the Edo state House of Assembly Rt Hon Thomas Okosun has been appointed the Director-general of the Committee to elect Charles Airhiavbere  as the next Governor of Edo state.

Okosun, a lawyer by profession, was also a former State Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, which was one of the four legacy part‎ies that formed the All people’s congress, APC.

In a press statement, Mr Edosa Okunbo who is the Director of Media and Publicity of the Committee to Elect Charles Airhiavbere as the next Governor of Edo state‎ said Rt Hon. Okosun has already assumed his duties.

Edosa who said that ‎Edo state needs REAL CHANGE and General Charles Airhiavbere rtd. is the face of change in Edo and the aspirant to beat in the APC primaries for the 2016 governorship elections remains committed to running a government, if elected which will continue the legacies of the Comrade governor Adams Oshiomhole.

The Press statement read: “This is to inform the good people of Edo state that General Charles Airhiavbere rtd, the frontline Edo APC gubernatorial aspirant in this year’s election has recently appointed a former Speaker of the state assembly Rt. Hon Thomas Okosun as the Director-general of his campaign organization”.

“R‎t Hon Okosun, a former State Chairman of the ACN before it changed to APC will oversee the entire operations of the Campaign office of the general  withe immediate”.

The statement assured all Edo people and the teeming supporters of the General that as a committed democrat, keen on delivering on the manifesto of the party, APC, they should be rest assured that Real change is coming to Edo state with Charles Airhiavbere on the saddle.
